Artwork Details

All Sizes are approximate. Media are mixed unless otherwise noted. Mixed consists of any of or a variety of the following, Aqua-tint, water color, acrylic, Gouache, oil, Alkyd, Casein, Egg-tempera, ink, Colored wax, pencil and more. The base material may be a variety of papers such as, but not limited to: 300-400, 450, 550 Lb. 100% rag, water-color papers, or laminated illustration boards of varying paper finishes, and/or of professional quality, canvas-boards or stretched canvases-cotton or Linen, or of wood panels, canvas & board, coated or unprimed boards or Fresco on board or wood or any of a variety of other unspecified bases. Most Illustration boards are either Crescent or in fewer cases Strathmore of varying degrees of finish and thickness.

Paintings are unframed and unmatted unless otherwise noted in legend. For Mixed media, we recommend non-glare-glass w/frame to protect against moisture damage. The images you have purchased are valued and costly pieces of art, therefore please be extremely careful with these and any such art works-when handling, like the handling of negatives or photographs-do not touch paintings with wet hands or foreign substances on hands, such as lotions, water, oil, grease, soap, chemicals or other contaminants. We are not responsible for such handling. Advise your framer to use acid free materials and no glue.

WHAT TO DO IF AN ORIGINAL IS SOLD OR /WITHDRAWN OR IN A PRIVATE COLLECTION.

YOU MAY SEND AN EMAIL AND REQUEST A PRICE FOR A NEW ORIGINAL, OR YOU MAY ASK IF THE PREVIOUS BUYER WISHES TO SELL, IN WHICH CASE OUR STUDIO WILL ATTEMPT TO NEGOTIATE THE SALE FOR YOU, IF POSSIBLE. IT IS USUALLY LESS EXPENSIVE FOR A NEW PAINTING TO BE MADE, HOWEVER.

In addition, the use of SOLD or WITHDRAWN are euphemistic, conveniences and may simply mean that the painting has been withdrawn temporarily or permanently for exhibition, on loan, being reworked, being copied, being photographed, or withdrawn temporarily for any number of other reasons, including that the painting may have been actually sold. Original Paintings are by artist, Professor Emeritus Peter Bagnolo. Each Is One Of A Kind Design. However, Prints Can Be Purchased From This Site. Art seen in a gallery cannot be sold directly to a client from this website, but must be purchased from the gallery at which it was viewed. Professor Bagnolo, will not remove a painting from a gallery to sell directly to a client who has seen the art at that gallery. To do so would be unethical and a conflict of interest. Galleries invest a great deal of money in promoting their artists and are therefore entitled to a fair profit on their investment and to the loyalty of those whose art they display. The pieces displayed here are from the artist's Private Collection, which are sold off every several years either by auction or privately placed sales, at prices greatly reduced from pre-commissioned pieces. These are closeouts to make room for new additions to the artist's private collection.

Because, The Camera Does Not Reflect The True Colors Exactly, Colors On Prints And Originals May Vary Somewhat From The Images On This Site. Do not place any original art or reproduction in direct sunlight, neither in nor out-of-doors.

IF YOU BUY INSURANCE WHICH COVERS THE FULL PRICE OF THE ART, YOUR ART WILL BE FULLY PROTECTED AGAINST LOSS OR DAMAGE. THEREFORE IT IS NECESSARY THAT YOU BUY SUCH INSURANCE FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION.

PRINTS MAY BE RETURNED FOR STORE CREDIT WITHIN 30 DAYS. There are no longer any refunds. unfortunately some dealers and others have ordered prints, copied or had them copied, and then made new prints from the copies, selling some and keeping some, breaking copyright laws, have forced us to change our return policies. We are sorry about that, and in a perfect world, these security concerns would not be necessary. We do not, however live in such a world.

By-The-Way, our LIMITED EDITION PREMIUM REMARQUED ARTISTS PROOF prints are Limited to no more than 50 of each image, each of which are imprinted with the limit number and your print number above it (1/50, or 2/50. etc. up to 50/50) and verified with a Certificate of Authenticity, which displays your print number and the print limit of 50. In addition, your print number is memorialized and archived in our files authenticating your ownership of that print number. Many other artists who sell prints do not limit their editions, which make more profit for them, but results in a market flooded with the same image, thus decreasing even the original purchase value of the print.

WHAT, EXACTLY, ARE CLOSEOUTS?

Are they leftovers? Art no one wants? Inferior images?

They are none of these!

Closeouts are not inferior images, nor leftovers, nor art no one wants. Instead they are mostly art which the artist has painted for his own edification or desire or in some cases they were finished preliminary art for larger images, or for portraits or murals or book cover or book interior art, and now because he is so prolific, he has no room for all of the pieces and therefore has decided to sell some of them to make room for newer images. Before the digital age, he probably would have kept the originals, but now he has other choices and storage space is at a premium.

In this electronic age, AADPA Ltd. is sending all of its art to digital copy. We now maintain a file of digital/photographic images of all of Professor Bagnolo's art. Now he can make copies to hang in his own house and studio and thus make prints available to others whose budget does not allow them to buy originals, or those who wish to complement their originals with copies for other locations at easily affordable prices. You can have full confidence that AADPA Ltd. and Professor Emeritus Peter Bagnolo will always sell only the finest of his work in each media, genre, and style, whether sketch, preliminary image, or primary art at incomparable prices. The Closeout original art images depicted on this gallery web site is priced well below that for which a commissioned image would sell.

All Prints are shipped Rolled in Tubes or flat. When you have a canvas framed, ask them to supply stretchers as well. We no longer supply stretchers because of the danger of their damaging artwork.

All Prints on canvas are in limited editions of 100 for each size, PLUS THE 50 LIMITED EDITION PREMIUM REMARQUED ARTISTS PROOFS-therefore 3 sizes per painting, 350 Maximum edition.

There are no limitations on the 8.5" X 11" PRINTS ON CANVAS.
