In this spiritual baseball fantasy, archeologists in the year 10064 AD find ancient CDs and DVDs in the bombed-out wilderness which was once America, telling the story of an old reporter, who, upset over what he sees as the greed and corruption of professional baseball, dreams of Heaven reincarnating “The Dead Players Union,” deceased all-time great players who are sent to Earth as adolescents, unaware of their true identity, to play baseball and restore its purity, which is symbiotically tied to the fortunes and purity of America. Then, in real life after the dream, he uncovers evidence of the players’ reincarnation. Two players, one black, one Caucasian, team up with all-time baseball greats including the black players who were denied access to professional baseball prior to 1947. All of this is set amid an exciting pennant race which is mixed with walk-off homers, betrayals, prophetic dreams, slander, premonitions, near death experiences, sex and love. What a season!

This paperback novel is an entertaining spiritual, political, and moral essay on the state of a great nation gone wrong, led by a modern president with ulterior motives and how professional baseball, in a state of corruption, serves as it’s symbiotic barometer.
